Sales Executive

The Sales Executive will play a key role in driving new business opportunities by qualifying, nurturing and setting appointments for the account managers.
This role will act as a layer between marketing and sales - handle all first contact with new clients and build relationships through marketing activity – events, campaigns, direct mail, email, etc.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas (lead generation quotas), specifically in a software solutions space. You will use your communication skills to qualify prospects and cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you set the appointment. You will also ensure proper hand-off to Sales with related discovery details.
You will understand the prospect's pain points and help build the customer ROI story as a result, and capture data into our CRM. In this role, you will liaise with the Marketing (agency or freelancers if required) and Sales teams to improve the entire customer sales prospecting, qualifying, and appointment-setting process.

Generate opportunities and or appointments and by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers.

Discover opportunities from leads, and set opportunities or appointments from those leads.

Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified opportunities.

Consistent use of sales approach and techniques based on product or service solutions.

Log, track and maintains prospect/customer contact and contact records.

Working closely with sales and pre-sales, occasional vendor training, host at local trade shows.

Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Microvision’s products and services– and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers to successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.

Create personalized marketing activities for Microvision products and services in collaboration with respective tech teams

Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
Skills:

Strong in-person and written customer communication skills.

Understanding of workflow systems and their application to customer business process improvement.

Ability to prioritise work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.

Strong PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications; knowledge of Microsoft CRM, design tools like Photoshop etc. a plus.

Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated.

Understanding of solutions and services being part of a system integrator or IT software company IS A MUST.

Occasional travel.
